Summary:

As a Project Director leading Bamboo Health’s controlled substance clearinghouse solution development and implementation, you will manage the activity of cross-functional teams both internally and externally to achieve the project’s mission.

Advanced project management experience is a must, particularly in software development and implementation settings. Your ability to exude a strong executive presence while also managing tactical execution by internal (Sales, Client Relations, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Revenue Operations, and other) and external stakeholders will be critical to success in the role. As one of the primary customer contacts for the project, experience working with external stakeholders of all levels is also a must.

What You Will Do:

• You will measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• You will partner with internal and external leadership to ensure a seamless transition from project execution to ongoing management at the project's end.
• You will project manage the delivery of Bamboo Health’s controlled substance clearinghouse solution, including executing against contracted deliverables, designing and managing timelines and schedules of internal and external resources, and maintaining clear status reporting throughout the project life cycle.
• You will follow standard project management methodologies and tools including the management of project issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
• You will manage project escalations to internal and external management teams as appropriate.
• You will drive organizational best practices, techniques, and standards around Project Management.
• You will routinely provide status updates reporting on the health of the project and programs being delivered.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

• Design project infrastructure for successful execution and status reporting.
• Develop familiarity with Bamboo Health’s controlled substance clearinghouse solution, as well as stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of the solution.
• Develop full understanding of Bamboo Heath’s implementation & delivery processes.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships with internal and external leaders and SMEs engaged on the project
• Assume full ownership of the project and have begun leading its execution

In 6 months…

• Have successfully driven towards achieving short-term project milestones and deliverables as contracted
• Have established an operating rhythm and communicated project status, risks, and change requests to the appropriate stakeholders

In 12 months…

• Continue to successfully drive towards achieving medium-and-long-term project milestones and deliverables as contracted
• Have successfully achieved short-term project milestones and deliverables as contracted

What You Need:

• Proven self-starter and ability to manage ambiguity; takes the initiative to identify and drive change.
• Experience with the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries; prior experience with healthcare software and solutions a plus.
• A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments.
• Ability to identify and drive process development/improvements across business functions
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
• Ability to work within a complex, cross-functional environment
• Advanced / 10+ years of project/program management experience in a customer-facing environment with demonstrated ability to independently develop, manage and implement aggressive project plans.
• Excellent written, oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to employ persuasion skills with discretion and consideration. Able to convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
• Executive presence: ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Proficient in MS Project and Office or similar tools.

• A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection.

• The ability to travel periodically for work.

• Experience working a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environments.
• A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions.
