Job Description
Job Title: Senior Specialist – Employee Support


Division: Corporate


Location: Tampa, Florida


Reports To: AVP- Employee Support

What You Will Do


The Senior Specialist delivers customer service excellence while partnering with Human Resources and Payroll professionals to maintain a best-in-class service approach. The position will provide services to the L’OREAL USA and SalonCentric employee population in the following but not limited:
  • Trainers for HR on any system upgrades
  • STD
  • LTD
  • Tuition Reimbursement processing
  • Provide One HR expertise and support to the HR community and employees
  • Workers Comp
  • Military Leaves
  • Manage leave process between employee, HR, department managers and Leave Management vendor
  • Field employee and HR payroll questions to properly direct them to the right resolution
  • Data quality/Workflows
  • Leave Management
  • Closely partner with Payroll team as it relates to day-to-day support
  • Call Center
  • Day-to-day Support
  • Unemployment Claims
  • Time Off management (vacation, PTO, Summer Hours, WFH, etc.)
  • Policy Questions & Compliance and Policy Acknowledgements
  • Audit/review and approve all transactions to ensure data quality and integrity to enable accurate data
  • Answer and field all types of calls that come in – provide assistance and/or direction
  • Parental Leaves
  • Payroll Support
  • FMLA
  • Employee Verifications


Required Qualifications


What We Are Looking For:


  • Must maintain complete confidentiality of employee records
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Interacts effectively – listens, communicates and influences effectively across all levels
  • A college degree or Work Experience Equivalent (2+ years in HR Contact Center or similar environment, involving phone/case management/quality inspections processes
  • Preferred experience working in a call center environment
  • Detail oriented, analytic and ability to problem solve with high level of organization
  • Preferred experience with leave management processes
  • Technical Skills : proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (*Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint / *Microsoft Outlook for Email, Calendar, Contacts, Scheduling, Task Management); Success Factors HCM
  • Entry Level position with internship experience +
