Senior Research Director - Tech Vertical

They are currently seeking a proven, experienced, senior researcher to help meet increased demands because of strong growth in both the US and Europe. The ideal candidate will run research for their tech vertical and will direct the entire research process from proposal to report. They will be accountable for understanding and delivering on client requirements, teaming up with business development, who are responsible for prospecting, relationship management and meeting revenue targets.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in internal and external knowledge sharing.
• Work with clients to define new project opportunities and close project sale.
• Grows key accounts as well as brings in new ones.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Interaction with research team for project management and delivery
• Insight dissemination with an eye towards meeting the clients’ research and business objectives.
• Coordination with Business Development and Senior Management on tech account strategy and execution
• Proposal development
• Client relations development and management
• Research design and methodology recommendations
• Participation on capabilities presentations and scoping calls
• Familiarity and comfort giving presentations to client teams.

Qualifications – Successful candidates possess:

• Direct coaching/mentoring experience
• 8-15 years' experience conducting tech research, ideally at research supplier.
• Experience with qualitative techniques a plus because our quantitative approach often incorporates more qualitative insights.
• Proven ability to manage existing business and drive business growth.
• Strong attention to detail; comfort in fast-paced environment and a team player attitude
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MA/MBA a plus

• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques such as regression, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis
• Comfortable presenting to senior management

• End to end experience in designing primary custom research.
