Program Manager - Financial Vertical - Remote

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Program Manager to join our Financial Vertical Team. In this role, you will maintain unique customer programs and initiatives for one or more of Convergint’s enterprise financial institution accounts. The Program Manager serves as a customer advocate and acts as a single point of contact for effectively assisting in the execution of customers’ installation and service activities. You will provide operational oversight, supporting Convergint teams and partners to ensure customer satisfaction, financial performance, and account growth. As a Program Manager, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Serve as a customer advocate and liaison between Convergint corporate, local offices, subcontractors, vendors, partners and manufacturers. Help develop unique approaches and introduce advanced solutions to customer challenges, building confidence in Convergint as a trusted advisor.
• Become a subject matter expert on working with our customers through an understanding of their business needs and knowing how to navigate their organization to ensure overall Customer Satisfaction in delivery of all services.
• Ensure adherence to specific customer standards, industry best practices, code requirements and/or market regulations.
• Drive consistency in delivery of all Convergint services across multiple locations, regions and countries.
• Develop a program, sharing customer vision and expectations for internal alignment.

• Deploy standard processes and tools that drive internal efficiencies and foster uniformity of work.
• Partner with Lead Account Executive and local sales teams to introduce new Convergint offerings and demonstrates value though an understanding of technologies and services to bring innovative solutions to our customers. Engage the support of internal resources and partners to introduce expertise that helps customers develop and implement their strategies.
• Manage, oversee, and coordinate all operational aspects of global/strategic customer engagements.

What You’ll Need

• Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving tools and techniques.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
• Excellent organizational skills related to Program/Project Management.
• Experience with contract negotiation and administration.
• Capabilities in implementing program deliverables, leveraging understanding of cultural differences in business practices for other regions or countries.
• An experienced leader that acts as a role model while guiding, developing and mentoring others within the organization.
• Broad based industry and market knowledge of network and low voltage building systems.
• Understanding of appropriate levels of protection regarding to customer personnel, information, and property, both real and intellectual.
• Strong work ethic with personal motivation to function individually and part of a team.
• Ability to create internal and external organizational alignment through relationships, communicating vision and team building.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of an organization.
• Project and service financial competencies.

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3 years operations, field service or project management

Preferred Experience (but Not Required)

• Engineering degree or related field
• Industry experience in 1 or more of the following: electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, building automation or IT industry
• Previous leadership
• Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
