Short Form Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled and creative Short Form Video Editor to join our team.

As a Short Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful videos that captivate our audience across various digital platforms. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from social media content to promotional videos, ensuring that our brand message is effectively conveyed through visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual stories.
• Edit and assemble short form videos, including but not limited to social media content, promotional videos, advertisements, and trailers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including videographers, motion designers, and content creators, to deliver high-quality videos that meet project deadlines.
• Cut and rearrange scenes, adjust video speed, add transitions, and incorporate visual effects to enhance the overall quality and impact of the videos.
• Review raw footage and select the best shots to create a coherent and visually appealing narrative.
• Implement graphics, text overlays, and motion graphics to enhance the video content and reinforce the brand message.
• Ensure consistency of style, tone, and branding across all video content produced.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Choose suitable music, sound effects, and audio tracks to accompany the visuals and ensure synchronization.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in video editing and apply them creatively to improve the quality and impact of the videos.

Requirements

• Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of video formats, compression, and encoding methods.
• A passion for creating visually captivating and engaging video content.
• Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling techniques, and visual aesthetics.
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in short form video editing.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
