SENIOR RECRUITER

FLSA: Salary Exempt


Job Summary


The Senior Recruiter is responsible for posting jobs, sourcing and interviewing potential candidates, and identifying and attracting quality hires.


Preferred Position Qualifications


  • 5+ years of healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience with reports and performance metrics
  • Experience with government contracting and security clearance procedures.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with government officials.
  • Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of recruiting experience.
  • Experience with building and/or improving workflows, systems, and processes.
  • Education: Graduate from a college or university with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other similar field of study.


General Duties


  • Recruit, manage and maintain numerous positions simultaneously under continuous time constraints.
  • Continually reduce, track, report on, and reduce cost/hire and time to hire performance of the team.
  • Identify job seekers using a full range of recruitment tactics and resources in a limited amount of time.
  • Develops standards of performance; evaluates performance; and initiates recommendations for improvement of all areas of recruiting.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with subcontractors and partners in marketing and advertising.
  • Participate in meetings and committees as required.
  • Begin and/or assist with the credentialing process of healthcare workers.


Core Duties/Additional Skills


  • Proven ability to handle multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent use of interview techniques to attain qualified candidates.
  • Exceptional candidate interview etiquette, processes, and communication
  • Apply advanced sourcing strategies across various channels to find passive candidates.
  • Must be a results-oriented, self-starter with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills; word processing, data analysis.
  • Understand and/or assist with government security clearance procedures.
  • Advanced use of search tools and ATS management
  • Computer proficiency with various software and database systems, calculator, multi-line phone, fax/copy machine.
  • Assist with and/or maintain departmental tracking for all related reporting information.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and follow up skills.

Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Teamwork skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
