Senior Planner Jobs

The Senior Planner will be responsible for facilitating the growth of Retail and E-Commerce DTC business. Execute the planning process, including location forecasts, inventory allocation, sales, and inventory analysis. Focuses on analysis at the location level and partnership with Retail and E-Commerce teams to achieve organizational goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide continuous ad-hoc business analysis to help mitigate potential risks and identify opportunities in the business.
• A key partner in developing best practices on allocation replenishment process and system enhancements
• Represent planning and allocation in weekly cross-functional team meetings.
• Manage monthly projections for the basics program at the SKU level, forecast sales, and model stock inventory
• Responsible for analysis and execution of weekly replenishment inventory
• Create and present hindsight analysis by location product category performance to inform future buying decisions
• Collaborate and build strong partnerships with cross-functional business partners - DC teams, store teams, e -comm, merchandising, and marketing.
• Manage monthly store forecasts and allocation strategy at category and style level for the new monthly floor-set product
• Manage financial sales planning, allocation, and replenishment for Splendid DTC business.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or combination of experience and/or training
• Experience working with allocation systems is preferred, experience with KWI is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, strong time management skills, ownership, and initiative
• MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel (Lookups, pivot tables, formulas, sorts, etc.)
• 5 years of merchandise planning experience
• Ability to effectively lead and develop result-oriented teams.
• Experience in a similar retail/apparel company is a huge plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail math skills; understanding of forecasting methodology
• Ability to learn systems and new processes quickly.
