Overview:


We are looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst to support our existing data team. The Marketing Data Analyst will report to ROKA’s Chief Marketing Officer. They will be responsible for leveraging existing data from multiple sources to support the marketing team. Including building queries, mapping the customer journey, reporting on site traffic to final attribution, & reporting on the owned and paid marketing channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Write and build data queries, adjusting them to business needs
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through data quality checks and validation processes
  • Build complicated analyses and then translate into easy to digest language, both in speaking and writing
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze marketing data and uncover meaningful insights
  • Develop and streamline necessary dashboards and analyses, providing ability to surface business critical KPIS and monitor various marketing channels, both paid and owned
  • Drive successful business outcomes by leveraging data and creating reporting to allow visibility into critical business performance and improve key performance indicators
  • Partner with other analysts to create high quality visuals leveraging existing data
  • Organize and prepare data from multiple sources to build marketing reports, deriving insights from each report
  • Ensure that analytic results drive consumer experience and business impact, helping to achieve marketing goals
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to iterate and refine marketing strategies based on test outcomes


Must Haves:

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong analytical capabilities, able to interpret and derive insights from complex data sets
  • Extensive experience with Excel & SQL with the ability to to build queries
  • Experience reporting on owned and paid marketing channels
  • Experience building and organizing data in a Business Intelligence Dashboard; Looker a plus
  • Ability to build and write data queries
  • Demonstrable experience mapping the customer journey
  • Experience reporting on customer traffic to final attribution
  • Experience working with an e-commerce direct to consumer product business

Work location:

ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The Company is on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the Department’s business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
