Who we’re looking for

Lexus’ Marketing Department is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Marketing Incentives Intelligence Analyst. We are a closely-knit team that is imaginative, thoughtful, and brave in all that we do and create.

The primary responsibility of this role focuses on market evaluation supporting effective incentive strategies to meet the brand market goals.

Reporting to the Incentives Manager, Lexus Marketing, the Marketing Incentives Intelligence Analyst supports the strategy development, implementation, and coordination of the Lexus Division’s incentive strategy, specifically related to all Sales Support programs. S/he considers internal factors (e.g., sales/pricing/supply) and external competitive factors to support the Division’s sales and profitability objectives with purchase incentives. In addition to analysis and strategy-building responsibilities, this individual has several logistical responsibilities, including Area office incentive setup and support, communication of incentive advertisement offers to our advertising agencies, and communication of National and Area programs information to applicable stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Administering core components of incentives programs to ensure approved programs are displayed in the market through the various ad agencies.
  • Development and success tracking of monthly incentive strategy related to Lexus Division Sales Support Programs to achieve sales and market share goals through effective and efficient programs. Programs include but are not limited to Loyalty, Conquest, Military, College Graduate, and other strategic partnership programs.
  • Recommends strategies and action for improving Lexus systems and incentives in ways that will increase the appeal of programs, sales, and profits.
  • Serve as our competitive product intelligence lead to assist in building incentive plans and identify trends that may influence incentives strategy. Bridges strategic and analytic analysis by applying deep understanding of Lexus business goals and products to gathered intelligence.
  • Identifying business priorities that may impact incentive development through regular communication with key stakeholders. This includes Field Operations, Finance, Demand and Supply, Lexus Financial Services, and Production Planning. Develops materials to present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Acting as primary contact and lead for JD Power/PIN and Motor Intelligence. Collects necessary data to construct a strategy for all incentive programs and scheduling all monthly meetings.
  • Serve as the Lexus lead for the Offers Administration Tool (OAT) application. Work closely with the Toyota Incentives team and Five & Done team to identify bugs and areas for improvement to enhance the existing application. Use OAT for Incentive Offer setup for National and Area programs each month.

What you bring

  • Keen sense of the luxury customer, and what motivates purchase decisions.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across divisions and regions.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, product, and/or strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience with predictive models and an ability to analyze trends over time.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.

Added bonus if you have

  • Experience with or passion for automotive and automotive operations.
  • Experience with lease and finance contracts.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience in either Toyota Motor Sales field operations or automotive retail.
