Senior Data Analyst Jobs

This is a Hybrid role and will require you to be the office on Tuesdays.

What is the role? :

• In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned tasks in the areas of data analysis, data extraction, data assessment, documentation, reporting, and Tableau visualization, and will have a detailed understanding of data structures and programming. You will also be supporting larger and more complex projects such as data visualizations and their automations and will be working with colleagues in other areas of the company to come up with intelligent solutions.

What will you be doing? :

Your role will be technically-driven with a customer focus, both internal and external:

• Ensure that all data assets, processes, and systems have up-to-date and accurate documentation
• Stakeholder engagement of both internal and external customers
• Property data reporting on a periodic basis
• Identification and reporting data anomalies
• Delivery of automated custom data extracts including briefing, SQL querying, delivery and after delivery client support
• Be the subject matter expert for designing, building, and delivering reporting solutions for internal and external clients in an automated methodology
• Development of report or dashboard automation solutions using AWS services, Python, SQL, and Tableau
• Perform as a subject matter expert on the company’s property data assets
• Data analysis and reporting/presentation of results

• Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to have your message heard and understood
• Advanced Skills in Tableau
• Ability to time manage and escalate as needed
• Intermediate technical querying skills in SQL Server essential
• Ability to assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures, and recommend improvements
• Experience with cloud-based technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and focus on accuracy
• Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
• Delivery oriented and ability to drive towards deadlines and ensuring customer outcomes are delivered
• Intermediate technical skills in Python essential
• Experience in automating solutions essential

Qualifications:

• Experience in working in a data-lead business or an equivalent department in a larger company.
• Minimum of 5 years commercial experience using relevant software tools, e.g. SQL, Python, R, BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau a must
• Bachelors (or higher) degree in computing, mathematics, statistics, or science related disciplines
