Job Description

Seeking a Senior Manufacturing professional for a hands-on role in managing and developing manufacturing processes for innovative single-use medical devices. Join our early-stage start-up company with growth opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Address non-conformances through NCR/CAPA system, escalating when necessary
  • Track and analyze project performance and adjust plans as needed
  • Drive cost reduction and scrap rate reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to resolve supplier quality issues
  • Develop, implement, and validate manufacturing processes for existing and new products
  • Lead verification and validation exercises for commercial manufacturing launch
  • Develop capital equipment proposals
  • Achieve manufacturing and engineering objectives
  • Meet budgetary objectives and present project plans to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with product development team on manufacturing tooling and fixtures
  • Analyze quality problems and drive improvements


Qualifications:

  • BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Plastics Engineering
  • 8+ years' experience in equipment-intensive ISO 9000 manufacturing
  • Exposure to ISO 13485 standards is a plus
  • Plastics processing experience is a plus
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (fixture and tooling design preferred)
  • Project management experience is required
