Job Description
Title: Senior Accountant


Location: North of Boston Onsite


Type: Contract to hire


Pay rate: 50.00 per hour


Growing 200 plus dollar manufacturing / distribution company is looking for a Senior Accountant that is proficient through month end close and financial statements. This professional will have interaction with the executive team and will have an opportunity to advance their career.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the accounting cycle, monthly, quarterly, annually
  • General Ledger, Accruals, Fixed Assets
  • Financial Statement Prep, KPI Reporting
  • Streamline systems, and processes
  • Work with the Controller on special projects
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Prepare for yearly audits
Qualifications:


  • 4 plus years experience with G/L reconciliation
  • Strong systems skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance
  • Inventory and WIP experience is a plus
