Company Overview:
At Sephora we inspire our customers, empower our teams, and help them become the best versions of themselves. We create an environment where people are valued, and differences are celebrated. Every day, our teams across the world bring to life our purpose: to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the Extra Ordinary in each of us. We are united by a common goal - to reimagine the future of beauty.
The Opportunity:
It’s an exciting time in the Sephora Digital Marketing & Media group. Sephora is embarking on the development and launch of its own Retail Media Network: creating new value exchanges for our Brand partners and accelerating ad monetization growth on our owned platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director, Retail Media Network, you will be responsible for driving a roadmap of large, cross-functional, and highly complex media expansion projects within Sephora’s Retail Media Network. You will help lead the product planning process across a cross-functional group of network stakeholders including Media, Brand Marketing, Site, Product, and Merchandising. You will help define, build, and execute our strategy and implementation as part of a multi-year journey. This role is for an entrepreneurial mindset who is excited to build this practice for Sephora from the ground up.
In addition, you will:
- Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.
- Create and present business cases for each new capability including revenue forecast, detailed functionality, GTM plans, client impact, and other considerations across stakeholder teams.
- Partner with Product team to manage the product development process, identify and resolve issues/blockers, and launch core capabilities accurately and on time. Partner with Product to maintain a prioritized product backlog based on defined business value.
- Support the creation of strong Sephora Retail Media Network go-to-market plans and solutions in a compelling, positive, and on-brand way.
- Build strong relationships and support collaboration across cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, IT, Merchants, Brand Marketing) to drive alignment on roadmap needs, feature definition, and business requirements.
- Support creation of vision, strategy, and requirements documents for new capabilities. Utilize available studies (market research, internal) and competitive analysis to identify customer needs.
- Use data analysis to address complex and ambiguous problems that often involve multiple stakeholder teams and span across departments.
- Establish an operational framework to manage communication and workflow across stakeholders and enable timely decision-making.
- Help define and socialize the holistic retail media network product strategy and approach across onsite and offsite channels.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
We’re excited about you if you have:
- Strong ability to cultivate relationships both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to grow a business idea from incubation to maturity and effectively manage through the various stages of a product lifecycle
- Demonstrated success in building and managing complex business processes across multiple internal teams in a high-growth environment
- 6+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech integrations and services, and/or retail media
- Ability to prioritize, work cooperatively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of marketing technologies & tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills #LI-SCR
