Ancestry is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team. The PMO organization drives impact by ensuring cross functional teams execute effectively and make tradeoffs to deliver on our company's vision and goals.

Reporting to the Head of PMO and Strategic Planning, the Senior Manager, Program Management will inspire a shared vision by leading teams, drive execution rigor and efficiency through clarity, resolve roadblocks, and identify opportunities to accelerate goal delivery and roadmap execution.

What You'll Do:

• Mobilize Program Managers and partners to align with business strategy and organizational needs
• Influence large teams to solve problems and gain agreement
• Explain the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team
• Manage team's programs within budget, delivering milestones, addressing dependencies, and meeting goals. Manage dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
• Lead a team of Program Managers to manage large cross-functional programs and partner with team members to deliver goals
• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and expertise across multiple organizations, influence strategic direction affecting long-term plans, and help define roadmaps
• Promote the Technical Program Manager role across Ancestry

Who You Are:

• Demonstrated experience presenting clear recommendations, outlining alternatives, costs, and important decision criteria
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Experience leading technology, marketing, and/or science investments across multiple products or businesses from conception to delivery
• Minimum of a B.A. or B.S.; PMP certification or related technical discipline experience
• Effective communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, manage scope, collaborate with multiple partners, and take ownership driving programs from start to finish
• Demonstrated ability to lead execution across highly ambiguous, complex programs, with experience making tradeoffs
• 7+ years of technical program management experience

As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $107,000 - $179,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience. We will share detailed compensation data for a specific location during the recruiting process.
