As the Director Supply Chain Program, you will be responsible for the overall customer satisfaction, growth and profit levels for assigned clients. You’ll drive and partner continuous improvement efforts across multiple operational areas, including profit and loss performance, supply chain strategy development, client relationship building and new solutions design and pricing. As the Director, you will manage the customer experience and establish a strategic direction and plan for customer account growth. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Provide data driven solutions. Strong data analytics and expert level excel
- Establish goals, plans and related metrics; track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives
- Drive new account growth through effective solutions development
- Sustain Lean culture; promote a diverse work environment focused on the continuous improvement of processes
- Manage contractual and operational efficiency account-driven initiatives
- Build and improve strategic relationships with the client’s senior management team
- Ensure annual profit, efficiency and quality goals are attained at each client engagement
- Lead the development of effective growth strategies for the supply chain; drive new account growth through effective solutions development
- Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities
- Ensure annual profit, efficiency and quality goals are attained at each client engagement; ensure KPIs are meaningful, aligned and achieved regularly
- Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities; sustain Lean culture
- Ensure contractual compliance and that customer obligations are met
- Develop short-range and long-range plans and goals for the site: ensure Voice of Customer. KPIs are meaningful, aligned and achieved regularly
- Lead the development of effective growth strategies
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 7 years of program/project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Strong knowledge of vertical supply chain and supply chain systems
- Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
It’d be great if you also have:
- Solid financial acumen
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the capacity to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
