Job Summary

The Inventory Grant Manager for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) plans, develops, coordinates and administers policy and program development for TEFAP initiatives in the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO). In this position, you will:

  • Establish program goals and objectives, monitor compliance and evaluate policies and procedures for complex program administration related to TEFAP programming, with a particular focus on inventory and supply chain management.
  • Direct, organize, and manage information sharing, training and technical assistance to build the capacity of partners engaged in hunger and antipoverty efforts that provide services to low-income individuals, youth and families.
  • Coordinate and manage activities that expand efforts and increase service in TEFAP initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of professional experience in a human services/social services or public health setting.

Experience must demonstrate:

  • Grant or program management experience
  • Data and statistical analysis skills
  • Program evaluation and reporting experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional experience.

OR

A Master’s degree in in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Public Policy, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field may substitute for 2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory systems and supply chain management
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communications, public speaking, and ability to establish rapport with a wide range of people spanning the local, state, and federal levels
