Job Summary
Suns Legacy Partners includes several companies and many different departments that support the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Footprint Center.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Manager, Phoenix Suns Charities with the Phoenix Suns Charities Department. The Senior Manager, Phoenix Suns Charities is responsible for overseeing the strategy plan put forth by the Executive Director, by leading all aspects of the organization's charitable efforts along with maintaining an emphasis on partner and community programs.
What Will You Do
  • Works cross functionally to ensure Phoenix Suns Charities is aligned with organization-wide goals.
  • Collaborates with social media website to build content.
  • Is responsible for impact/reach to best tell the Phoenix Suns Charities story by tracking and reporting on the outcomes of all programs and initiatives
  • Oversees NBA Cares program alignment with appropriate departments.
  • Collaborates with GPS to ideate community programs for partner pitches.
  • Develops fundraising programs including events, campaigns, and in-game.
  • Strategizes building of programs through Phoenix Suns Charities grants.
What We Need From The Senior Manager, Phoenix Suns Charities:
  • Ability to lead high level execution of events.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • May require some travel.
  • Project management experience.
  • Data oriented.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the Phoenix Suns organization.
  • Word/Except/Canva, PowerPoint or other similar presentation platform.
  • Understands importance of maintaining organizational strategy alignment.
  • Developing strategy and driving business plans and goals.
  • Required to work non-traditional hours for games and charitable events.
Experience/ Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sports management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of NBA and sports industry trends, with the ability to identify and implement innovative engagement strategies.
  • 3-5 years of management experience supervising a small team.
  • Experience working with professional athletes and/or alumni preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of implementing successful programs and events.
  • Proven success in fundraising, grant-making, and community outreach.
  • Passion for crafting positive change in the community through sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with diverse partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sports marketing, community relations, or related field.
