Location
Purpose
~ Sr. Group Manager, Carflow & Distribution is responsible for managing the monthly and annual Carflow on a national/regional scale as well as vehicle distribution activities. The holds key responsibilities for sales planning, vehicle distribution and profit optimization activities, and performance management of direct reports. This role serves as the primary sales liaison with Product Line Management (PLM), Finance and Hyundai Distribution teams.
Major Responsibilities
~ Develop the business strategies for Genesis, which includes sales forecasting.
~ Responsible for leading efforts in development and execution of Genesis Executive communication as it relates to all-dealer broadcasts regarding Carflow and distribution.
~ Manage the process of analyzing the monthly and annual national/regional Carflow to react to changing needs, identify opportunities and align with incentives and profit optimization.
~ Lead the development of rundowns, production orders, car-flow strategies and the official forecasting of wholesale and retail performance to objectives.
~ Continuously monitor wholesale and retail sales achievement versus plan and prepare recommendations for supply requests to manage/optimize vehicle supply with consumer demand.
~ Handle escalated inventory constraints and/or available surplus for assignment/allocation as well as to identify and address current and future risks/opportunities in the monthly sales plan.
~ Develop and order the optimal product mix for maximum turn-rate.
~ Monitor and control the allocation process to assure timely and equitable distribution.
~ Manage all activities of port operations to ensure vehicles are expediently shipped.
~ Responsible to direct monthly sales analysis, by carline, to ensure optimal ordering mix.
~ Oversee the creation and analysis of National and Regional sales programs and review sales performance at the National, Regional, District, and Dealer levels.

~ Set standards and protocols for all Regional Fleet and Service Loaner activities.
~ Employee development and management of direct reports by providing development, training, coaching and direction to ensure employees are meeting requirements of position, as well as ensuring development for future opportunities.
~ Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.
~ Develop annual MTP.
~ Develop, coordinate, and oversee official Genesis sales tracking protocol. Includes dealer and region communication of all issues, updates, reporting and programs to ensure clear understanding of objectives, timeline, and expectations.
Authority
~ Responsible for approving Time Off Requests for direct reports.
~ Responsible for completing the Performance Goals/Evaluations for direct reports.
~ Hiring and termination recommendations.
~ Budget development, management, and analysis.
Education
Related Experience
~ Ten plus years of experience with at least eight years of directly related in OEM Sales Operations activities.
~ Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
Skills/Knowledge
~ Extensive knowledge of automotive retail operations including sales analysis, forecasting, and vehicle distribution.
~ Abillity to develop innovative strategies to find breakthrough solutions for Luxury Automotive retailing.
~ Ability to understand/deliver results on complex projects on time and within budgetary guidelines.
~ Develop amd manage complex budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Managerial accounting is a plus.
~ Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
~ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
