Job Description
Position Summary:


Reporting to the Director, Senior Financial Plannings Analyst will conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling using large data sets to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This role requires advanced Excel skills to create sophisticated financial models to aid in strategic planning. The Senior Financial Plannings Analyst will design, build, maintain, and present comprehensive financial reports, such as ROI (Return on Investment), LTV (Lifetime Value), headcount and capacity utilization, and other key performance metrics, to senior leadership. The role will continuously monitor financial trends and conduct scenario analyses to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities, offering proactive solutions to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline data collection, reporting processes, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and implement innovative techniques to enhance financial reporting capabilities.


Essential Functions:


  • Support special projects, ad hoc reporting, and benchmarking, as directed.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present complex financial data in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Utilizes advanced Excel skills and other analytical tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Anticipates and recommends solutions for financial and operational issues that may arise. Leverages analytical skills to draw conclusions from data to tell a story.
  • Supports the annual budgeting and monthly operation and financial forecasting process, including scenario analysis.
  • Collaborates with all stakeholders to gather financial data and information required for analysis and reporting.
  • Builds, analyzes, and maintains dynamic financial models and data visualizations that provide real-time insights into financial performance, enabling key stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.

Requirements:


Education & Experience:


  • Eight (8) years experience of progressive professional experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Any combination equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field required.


Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:


  • Proactive approach to identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiarity with financial management systems and other analytical tools for data manipulation, data integration, and advanced financial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, including the ability to use complex functions and advanced proficiency in Power Pivot and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building complex financial and data models and creating dynamic reports.
  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools to present data in a clear and visually compelling manner.
  • Resilience in handling complex financial challenges and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform scenario analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial forecasting with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • In-depth understanding of business operations, financial processes, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
