Your role within the team

In order to help grow the business efficiently and further develop the group as an industry leader in the market, our Group Supply Chain and Operations Senior Director, reports directly into our Group Strategy and Operations Officer holds a critical role for the implementation and management of the Supply Chain and Operations functions globally.

The role requires proven success both as a senior leader who has built and enabled effective teams, and as an individual contributor who adapts easily to a rapidly changing environment – someone who can move from strategic to operational tasks easily and doesn’t mind having a mix of both in their role.

The job holder must also possess the skills to be a collaborative business liaison with outstanding client and supplier relationship management skills. This person is a contracting, sourcing, and supplier management professional, with experience managing cross functional teams toward the best possible outcome and someone skilled in contract negotiations, process improvement, and relationship management (internal and external).

The role provides oversight for supply planning of all projects, conducts ongoing evaluation of operational systems and processes to maximize effectiveness, and manages an end-to-end view of operations to help increase margins through operational excellence without compromising customer or consumer satisfaction.

This role will work closely with the Group Strategy and Operations Officer and organizational leaders to develop, execute and sustain key operation capacities focused on growing our businesses in the various markets. As well as provide leadership and oversee daily operations of the function.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally
• 5-10 years of senior level operational/supply chain experience required ideally in FMCG sector.
• Very clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates strong judgment and problem-solving competencies
• Highly analytical with strong negotiation skills and sharp with numbers
• Knowledge of managing global multicultural teams and expert ability to lead and motivate a team for optimum performance
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an agile and flexible working approach
• Excellent ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and excel under pressure to meet deadlines
