Associate Director, Supply Chain (Remote) - 23-176

Elevar is seeking an Associate Director, Supply Chain to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain department. He/She will support the Supply Chain group deliverables including the global management of pre-launch supply activities to support successful product launches in major markets. Additionally, he/she will support the establishment of reliable and secure source of supply through optimization of production/capacity planning, customized inventory vs demand management, and realization of financial efficiencies. This is a remote-based position located in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product launch teams from pre-launch activities including defining set goals, establishing a standard working agenda and effectively utilizing a detailed project plan to ensure stable supply chain to support 2+ years post launch
• Create, manage, and facilitate regular meetings, including the development of agendas, issue written minutes, and follow up on action items
• Coordinate with CMO’s and production facilities in establishing manufacturing deliverables and utilization of appropriate metrics to track progress against set goals
• Provide oversight on all relevant product launch activities, and effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on resource requirements, activity tracking, risk awareness and mitigation planning in support of a successful product launch
• Routinely collaborate with key Elevar stakeholders to achieve cross company alignment with respect to product supply risk and upside, inventory management through all downstream nodes, and financial requirements/spend
• Ensure processes and resources are effectively and efficiently utilized to provide a continuity of supply for all products, making sure that product output and materials input are managed to minimize risk and maximize value
• Provide logistics support, as needed, including coordination and prioritization of planned shipments as well as shipment tracking and troubleshooting distribution related issues
• Establish and maintain finished goods inventory at 3PL warehouse and transportation partners to ensure best in class customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of supply chain processes and systems, network design and management, logistical coordination, warehousing and transportation planning and management
• Ability to demonstrate Elevar’s core values by holding ourselves and each other accountable for the work we do, taking time to collaborate effectively while working remotely, making space for ingenuity in work and thought, and staying grounded in compassion
• Experience in product launch in a major market
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical supply chain planning and logistics of CMO manufacturing
• Experience with an ERP (NetSuite) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years; or Master’s degree with 8 years; or PhD with 5 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar field. Proven management experience demonstrating business acumen, developing and delivering functional/department goals, delivering results, championing innovation, coaching and developing subordinates including remote and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrates the ability to assist in the execution of projects of diverse scope and complexity
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team leadership, project management, external relationships and financial acumen
• Experience working in cross-functional, global, virtual environments with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, including external vendors
• Ability to work independently, lead teams in a strategic and tactical manner while working in a matrix environment with different pulls and levers

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Final compensation depends on multiple factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skillset, depth and breadth of knowledge, internal equity, and external market factors.
