Job Description

Summary:


Throughout the Boston Celtics’ storied history, they have long stood for equality and respect, including drafting the first African American player, hiring the first African American coach, and playing the first all-black starting five. The Celtics have won a record 17 NBA Championships spanning five (5) decades, including eight (8) in a row from 1959-1966, and winning their most recent in 2008. In addition, forty-one (41) former Celtics players, management, coaches, or staff have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In December 2002 the team returned to local ownership for the first time since 1963.


Do you have passion for building meaningful relationships? We are seeking a Senior Coordinator to focus on partnership activation and work cross-functionally to achieve success. This role will manage accounts as well as deliver relationship management support and contract fulfillment for a portfolio of corporate partners and report to the Director of Partner Development.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop understanding of the Celtics brand, principles and values to optimally communicate to partners
  • Cross-functionally work with internal groups to align partner and organizational goals for outstanding
  • Lead game day in-arena set up and break down
  • Lead creation of qualitative and quantitive mid-year and season-end recaps based on partners’ objectives
  • Assist with maintaining and tracking individual partner budgets
  • Ensure the highest level of partner satisfaction through outstanding client service
  • Activations
  • Monitor sponsorship asset delivery through CRM system and report regularly on status
  • Development and implementation of season activation plans and day-to-day partnership assets


Requirements:


  • Ability to multitask and adapt to evolving business environments and situations
  • Bachelors degree and related experience
  • Professional sports team, league, property or a sports brand marketing agency
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate partnership activation or client service, preferably with a
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
