Job Description

Senior Contract Manager

Reports To:Director of Contracts

The Impact you Will Have:

The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements primarily in support of the Sales, Operations and Finance teams. Qualified applicants will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, extensive experience in government and commercial contracting, and a proven ability to build and foster positive working relationships internally and with Clients.


What You’ll Do:

  • Advise on contract risks and benefits; communicate with stakeholders concerning contract-related matters,
  • Review and manage a variety of agreements with local, state and federal government agencies as well as commercial and international clients,
  • Manage, update and adapt as necessary corporate contract templates including non-disclosure agreements, master agreements, license agreements, and consulting agreements,
  • Review and mark up client agreements, statements of work, purchase order terms and conditions and vendor contracts,
  • Draft or modify special contract provisions; research legal terminology,
  • Monitor contracts, resolve problems, and draft amendments as needed.
  • Complete a variety of vendor forms quickly and accurately, and
  • Creatively resolve differences that arise during contract negotiation, ensuring mutual benefit, consistency and clarity in the agreement,
  • Negotiate client requested changes to Company agreements,
  • Review final documents and send for signature in DocuSign,
  • Maintain contract documentation archives and input contract details in Salesforce,
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of agreements covering a range of transactions,


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree or certification in a relevant field is highly desired,
  • 5-9years of relevant experience in contract administration,
  • Experience reviewing and managing US Government contracts is required,
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to meet tight timelines and handle multiple priorities,
  • Professional certification by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is a plus, and
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment with minimal day-to-day supervision,
  • Working knowledge of intellectual property, infringement, and data protection regulations,
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
