Job Title: SME - Clinical Contracts
Summary:
As an SME you will play a crucial part in bringing in your sectoral expertise and advise our team members on what and how to look within contracts to develop different data models to train and test the platform.
Responsibilities:
• Partners closely with Clinical Operations study leads to understand the clinical trials and study priorities to support timely delivery of negotiated budgets and contracts.
• Act as an SME to analyze and advise the business on complex legal/compliance issues that arise out of Pharma
• Negotiates project agreements and related budgets in accordance with established timelines and the project budget, in coordination with Finance and Legal.
• Draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, licensing, sourcing and other agreements.
• Provide legal and compliance advice and training, in close collaboration with the compliance team.
• Ensure consistent application of local commercial and compliance policies and procedures throughout the business via sound partnering with the business.
Required Qualifications:
• A JD degree
• At least 5 years of relevant law experience at a large law firm or corporate legal department,
• Previous exposure and relevant experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences/Healthcare sector, including experience with US healthcare/pharma industry statutes and regulations
• Demonstrated experience providing legal advice in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience in drafting new contracts, direct negotiations with third parties, and providing alternate clauses (we can have sector-specific contracts listed like clinical trials, research collaborations, human bio-specimen agents, etc.)
• Knowledge of legal technology – contracts and compliance
