Job Description

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of university recruiting for assigned Humana business groups. The Senior Recruiter works on assignments that involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They will utilize creative strategies to identify top talent and must be able to think outside the box when it comes sourcing candidates.

Responsibilities

The Senior Recruiter actively participates in the recruiting process to hire early talent for leadership programs, internships, and full-time opportunities, which can span across several Humana business groups.

  • Support and lead; campus recruiting events (in-person and virtual), interview days, and celebration events in partnership with the Graduate Recruiting Lead and Early Talent Program Manager(s)
  • Execute business strategies outlined by the recruiting lead in partnership with Early Talent Pipeline Programs and Inclusion and Diversity Talent teams
  • Act as a Humana Brand Ambassador while providing a high touch recruiting approach
  • Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices, while staying up to date on trends in university recruiting
  • Engage with leaders internally to hire top talent while supporting the early talent programs
  • Innovate candidate outreach plans, while executing a tiered school approach
  • Serve as the primary point of communication with selected candidates-from talent attraction through offer/hire
  • Create and maintain a best-in-class candidate experience for future Humana Leaders
  • Develop and cultivate external relationships with career center staff and faculty

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be able to travel up to 25-30% of time during peak recruiting season (Aug-Nov)
  • Superb organizational and follow-up skills, with a focus on detail orientation and candidate experience
  • 5 or more years of direct full cycle recruiting experience
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Flexibility to adapt to & execute against organizational changes and priorities
  • Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility managing complex and sensitive situations independently
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Project management experience leading multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of university recruiting experience

Work-At-Home Requirements:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
