Within AWS Public Sector, Non-Profit Healthcare is a rapidly growing, mission-driven business that is obsessed about serving our health system customers. As a Sales Representative, working alongside Account Executives, in key Non-profit Healthcare accounts, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a Healthcare sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of assigned accounts and formulating a plan alongside the Account Executive
Drive net new revenue and market share in a defined accounts
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
Accelerate customer adoption
Maintain a robust sales pipeline
Work with the Enterprise Account team, Partners, and Solution Architects to curate the account strategy for prioritized accounts
Facilitate contract negotiations, investment programs and enablement programs
Uncover and develop new opportunities within strategic accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction

  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) *Strong technical skills, including knowledge of AWS services
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative and targeted lead generation programs that generate results
  • Experience communicating and presenting to Sr. leadership
  • The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Demonstrated track record of metrics and quota obtainment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
