In this role, you have the opportunity to:
You’ll manage sales and commercial partnerships with customers in a country or key market, for a wide product portfolio, normally for a large BL. Creates and implements the national sales and distribution strategy and the Sales Plan, including sales forecasts and AOP. Remains within the distribution strategy of the BU. Reports direct to the BL on regional or cluster level. Leads a national sales team and national KAM’s. Leads a sales team with own trade marketing / category management, but is supported by other functions: product marketing, logistics, F&A/HR.

You are responsible for:
Operational:
- Manages the sales function in the Markets order to maximize sales, volumes and revenues for assigned portfolio, across regions.
- Ensure sales efforts align with and support organizational strategy, SPoR (both long and short-term), and BMC plans
- Responsible for compliance performance within the district and for reporting compliance issues quality & regulatory functions (for management review purposes).
- Contributes to marketing plan: product prices and sales priorities, and responsible for price realization
- Develop clear and achievable strategies, objectives and tactical plans based on segmentation, customer needs / customer centricity and market conditions synchronized with the BMC objectives
- Gains and maintains market information and knowledge in order to obtain and maintain the targeted market shares across assigned product portfolio
- Ensure un-compromised implementation of the standard Philips business processes, quality standards and standards of business conduct according to Philips policies
- Establishes key sales commercial and operations plans including processes and strategies for: distribution, contracting, business planning, sales comp., forecasting, budgeting, and KPI selection.
- Has the authority and accountability to negotiate contracts and prices within the limits of the sales plan and sales policy
People:
- Ensure that right organization is in place to deliver on the sales objectives
- Builds capabilities
- Leads, coaches, directs and motivates the team, encourage diversity
- Manages pipeline of talents for the organization, and build capabilities in the organization
- Optimizes organization for speed & costs

- Small product portfolio, may be a new product/market combination.
- Operational planning and activity planning.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
- University degree and 10+ years of relevant experience with solid track record in sales and management of sales teams
- Solution/consultative sales
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Working in multi-channel (direct/indirect) environment, ecommerce
- Experience in matrix organizations, and cross-functional experience
- Certified LEAN Advanced- highly preferred
