The Sales Operations Manager will manage the day-to-day activities, tools, systems, policies, routines, and procedures to maintain high levels of operational effectiveness that enable our category leading brands to grow. This position will support cross functional activities across Brand, Commercial, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Third Parties for the United States and Canada. The primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following activities: Master Data, Sales Policies and Manuals, Customer Agreements, Distributor Policies, Price Lists, Order-to-Case process, Adjustable-Rate Program (unsaleables), Allocations, Customer Communications, Product Recalls, Retail Sales Communication, Share Sites, Broker Commissions and Enterprise Wide Corp initiatives.
What you’ll do for us
Maintain and facilitate Warehouse RTM sales systems master data are accurate and up to date, e.g., sales org hierarchies, item descriptions, sales managers, daily sales reports, , SAP, Matrix, order to cash
Maintain and facilitate warehouse RTM sales guides and policies; COIs, Price Lists, ARPs, Distributor Guides etc
Commercial SME for data reporting; weekly, monthly and ad hoc from Matrix and TPM
Manage the Adjustable-Rate Program (unsaleables program), including 3rd party audits, annual rate development, budget tracking, resolution of invalid deductions, and quarterly updates to management on status.
Lead set up of new items for the Warehouse RTM through the Order-to-Cash routine as the Project Manager, working with cross-functional partners from Commercial, Finance, Billing, Deductions, etc.
Maintain and facilitate Warehouse RTM policies and processes, including Price Lists, Distributor Policy Guides, Sales Operations Manuals, PO Layer Exception Approvals.
Create and maintain customer communications including Product Supply Disruptions, Product Order Management routines, Item Discontinuance Notices, and other customer letters.
Update and maintain product information data repository: customer guaranteed days, CRV/bottle deposits, kosher certifications, beverage tax, production / distribution facilities.
Maintain the Nutrition Team Share Point sites as the main method of communication to Sales and cross-functional partners.
Steward requests & communications from Sales into the appropriate HQ teams: COI requests, GFSI certifications, legal approvals, consumer inquiries, etc.
Requirements and qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 2-3 years of CPG industry and/or Sales Operations experience.
Ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end knowledge of sales & sales systems, policy management, and operations experience.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods industry business systems and the back-shop processes to support and maintain the business.
Familiarity with key data systems: Planning & forecasting tools (e.g., Matrix, Transformer/TPM, CAS, Power BI, Analyze in Excel); financial & sales reporting (SAP, Oracle); performance management & execution metrics; Microsoft Applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Client Relationship: Ability to foster relationships across multiple functional teams
