Overview

Topgolf is seeking an infrastructure support engineer to help support all production venues. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to network, servers, and other infrastructure in venues and offices.

Responsibilities

• Writes documentation, including policies and procedures. Creates diagrams, including network and system designs
• Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned
• Thoroughly understands and complies with IT policies and procedures, especially those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established client service levels. Thoroughly understands and complies with Information Security policies and procedures
• Implements opportunities to automate manual system tasks
• Adds, updates, and closes records in the IT Problem Management and Change Management databases
• Completes capacity planning activities, including monitoring and tracking capacity metrics. Initiates actions to prevent degradation caused by capacity issues
• Directs Infrastructure Support Engineers on daily tasks and provides updates to Manager
• Identifies performance issues, interprets trends, and packages data to provide to development teams

Qualifications

• Strong people development and management skills
• Working Understanding of Windows Teams and SharePoint Environments
• Working Understanding of Windows Office365 and Exchange Evironments
• Bachelor’s Degree in related IT field, preferred
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Working Understanding of Windows Intune Environments
• 3+ years Technology Management Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
• 7+ years Infrastructure Engineering Experience
• Working understanding of advanced aspects of infrastructure technologies including VMware tool suite (ESXi, vCenter, vROPS, vRNI, vRB, Horizon, etc.), Windows OS, Ubuntu, and networking with expertise in at least one of the following technologies: VMWare, SAN, NAS, Data Replication Strategy, Routing and Switching (Cisco, Meraki, Wireless), Application Load Balancing, Data Back-up Technologies, Next Generation Firewalls, SCCM, AutoPilot, InTune
• Working understanding of code and scripting (PowerShell, Rest API) for automation

Travel up to 5% - Small amount of travel to venues on a very limited basis.
