Mobile Energy Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our business development and marketing efforts.MES is a vigorously growing, dynamic organization with over 25 years of experience providing virtual pipeline natural gas service to our customers via over-the-road delivery of natural gas.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while having a real impact on the customers we serve.


The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for generating new business, expanding existing MES accounts through a strategic and consultative selling approach. They are also responsible for driving brand awareness by developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns that promote MES products and services.

This position will require exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in targeted industries. Extensive knowledge of natural gas utility, pipeline transportation, commercial/industrial natural gas service, and gas marketing industries are keys to success in this position.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed assigned sales targets and goals.

• Create & manage a budget including cost elements of marketing, travel, tradeshows, and other business development-related activities.

• Identify and qualify potential customers through research, referrals, networking, and other sales and marketing activities.

• Conduct sales presentations and service demonstrations to decision-makers in targeted industries.

• Respond to inquiries and provide quotes, proposals and other sales materials to potential customers in a timely manner.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers and partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in targeted industries.

• Plan, coordinate and attend industry events and conferences to promote the company and identify new business opportunities.

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's objectives and target market.

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.

• Manage the creation and production of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, presentations, videos, website content, and social media campaigns.

• Oversee and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.

• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including campaign effectiveness, website traffic, lead generation, and customer engagement, to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, advertising agencies, vendors, and other partners to maximize brand exposure and collaboration opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, accounting & analytics, management, and ownership to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.

• Provide regular sales & marketing reports, forecasts and updates to management.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.

• Continuously improve company processes through continued learning & development, actively identifying areas of improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize processes systems.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred.


Experience

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development. Experience in natural gas utility, pipeline transportation, commercial/industrial natural gas service, gas marketing industries is preferred.
