As a trusted sales expert, you will establish new business relationships and develop new opportunities within targeted market segments throughout the entire sales cycle. You have an interest in developing deep relationships and providing long-term value to clients. In this role, you will routinely collaborate with various teams and personalities including marketers, business leaders, software developers, and designers.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Build relationships with new and existing clients
- Own the sales process from start to finish, including prospecting, messaging, pitch creation, qualifying, conversation management, closing, following up, etc.
- Attend conferences and networking events to generate new leads
- Promote lead generation activities and maintain a strong sales funnel to meet financial goals and targets
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales strategies and conduct market analyses to identify and grow opportunities within targeted market segments
- Continuously develop your own network of contacts and influencers to gain market insights, referrals, and prospects
- Guide client discussions utilizing a consultative and informative solution-selling approach
- Negotiate contracts and closing agreements

- Micromanagement over daily activities or how you accomplish set goals
- Stuffy corporate structures and layers of red tape
- Following a standard sales script on repeat - each client and project varies with opportunities for customization so every conversation will be different
What are we looking for?
- Ability to have effective communication and present to all levels of an organization, including executive and C-suite
- Strong book of business within one or more of the following market segments: Fintech, Media & Entertainment, Retail & D2C, Professional Services, Consumer Electronics
- Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
- Proven track record of successfully hunting and closing new accounts
- Minimum 5 years of B2B enterprise sales and/or business development experience
- Deep understanding of one or more areas of our services: custom mobile apps, custom web systems, eCommerce, staff augmentation
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quota
- An understanding of the Agile process in a custom software development project from idea to market and being able to discuss aspects of features, schedules, and budgets with clients
- Experience building and growing a sales pipeline through effective outbound prospecting activities
- Ability to work within an agile/startup environment

- Competitive salary - Compensation includes a base salary ($100,000 - $150,000) + uncapped commission earnings. The finalized salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
