Position Summary:
As Regional Marketing Manager, this role requires developing a full understanding of North America Helicopter Market & business environment to be able to capture, create & promote value propositions on Airbus Helicopters products & services to develop Sales Campaigns & overall Marketing efforts. Analytical & promotional responsibility to provide product & mission analysis, marketing collateral, competitive intelligence and insight to all internal & external collaborators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Regional Marketing: 40%
- Be the voice of the market & Marketing focal point for assigned territories and segments
- Responsible promoting Airbus Helicopters solutions for sales campaigns across North America
- Development of regional plans & roadmaps including but not limited to Marketing Plan, Regional Roadmaps & driving actions to support campaigns for Civil, Parapublic & Military
- Capture and provide marketing inputs (e.g.: customer needs, competition benchmark, market trends, workshops) for product development and future product definition (including the 4Ps: Product, Price, Place & Promotion)
2. Product & Services Promotion: 20%
- Drive active promotion of products & services across Civil, Parapublic & Military segments including supporting sales team members in customer briefings & exchanges
- Build & continually update product & services technical presentations, analysis & key messages as well as innovate on new marketing tools & collaterals
- Ensure coordination with the Sales & Programs teams to demonstrate existing capabilities
- Active Sales Promoter for all marketing activations and analyzing impact as well suggest improvements for different segments/ regions
3. Market & Competition Intelligence: 20%
- Report on market and major events occurring within region (state of the market, insights, trends)
- Mission trends within Civil, Parapublic & Military market
- Provide marketing knowledge base on how our customers operate and impacts to our market as well evolving
- Competitive analysis including key campaigns activities, pricing policy, product developments, analytics, and services
4. Market Understanding : 10%
- Develop a thorough understanding of operators, their markets and their market trends
- Develop an understanding of AHI as an industry, function, and divisions
- Provide market inputs and requirements to champion other areas of Marketing/Sales and other internal partners
- Define marketing strategies for operators to create more business opportunities
5. Sales & Marketing Tools: 10%
- Drive active use salesforce with regional teams for an always updated view of Sales funnel/ Opportunities
- Drive marketing innovation by shaping & refreshing all marketing content
- Advocate use of all digital marketing tools - apps/ databases/ marketing content/Spotfire/ performance apps

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
Required:
- 4-year degree in business, marketing, data science, statistics; or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- MBA or Master's Degree in engineering, economics, business/marketing
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in sales, marketing, program management.
Preferred:
- Experience in Technical products, aviation industry and/or rotary wing industry
- Aviation (Civil or military) pilot or aircrew experience
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in marketing, program management, for technical products in Aviation
- Previous experience with detailed marketing analysis

Decision Making, Complexity:
- Responsible for driving regional marketing across North America with the sales teams within their assigned territories and requires networking inside & outside the organization. Expected to work independently in leading our marketing initiatives in the region & will have accountability for positive marketing impact. This position will work closely with the other marketing colleagues to ensure consistent messaging across all customers and segments.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:
- The Regional Marketing Manager key to success is having a deep understanding of the market, customer base, products & services offered by Airbus Helicopters. Another key success factor is collaborating across Airbus Network & building strong relationships with the regional sales teams. Able to influence customers toward Airbus Helicopters products. The Regional Marketing Manager is expected to be open new ways of working within the functions of Airbus & the industry.
Nature of Contacts:
- Externally: Focusing on the customer and their needs will require close relationships with the sales teams and their customers both in influencing them toward our products and learning from them their needs.
- Internally: Will influence the programs teams to what our customers need in North America, including a strong involvement with all future developments.
- Engage with internal parties and external territory contacts to determine market needs and review product evolution opportunities with Programs, Marketing and Strategy
