We are urgently looking for a Director of Sales
Position Objective
Organize and direct assigned region’s sales activities for new and existing products. Increase sales, customer awareness, and client base, in the assigned territories and participate in the definition of products and services that will satisfy customer needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions:
•Pursue new business by making periodic calls to existing clients and being alert to possible new customers to achieve continued revenue growth.
•Provide product support for customers, and interface with engineering, production, service, and finance to resolve problems.
•Assist with developing marketing and sales strategies and business plans for new products, including pricing strategies for new products, services and software to maximize Company profitability.
•Assist with developing recommendations for improvements to new products that will enhance service, improve life or reliability, and/or reduce cost.
•Using defined limits, prepare proposals for customer consideration and acceptance.
•Assist in pricing new and existing products, services, and software to maximize Company profitability.
•Make customer presentations and convince companies to adopt new technology or services early.
•Arrange for field testing as required.
•Ensure that Technology’s quality, safety, and design standards are adhered to.
Job Specifications
Bachelor of Science or Arts or equivalent industry experience. Fifteen years or more of practical oil field experience, preferably with MWD, LWD, Rotary Steerable Systems or Directional Drilling.
Significant management experience in Sales, Field Operations, including budgetary responsibility.
Other skills required:
•Ability to organize and deliver presentations.
•Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships at all levels.
•Demonstrated capability of executing a business plan to achieve desired revenue and profitability goals.
