Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) has an excellent opportunity in its Tridium Business for a Sales Director, based out of United States of America. We are aiming to fill this vacancy after the recent promotion of the present incumbent to take a role in another part of Honeywell Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of OEM accounts globally within this highly successful Honeywell business, meeting the ambitious targets whilst ensuring that the business adapts from a medium to larger business over time and to cope with the demands that entails.
- Develop the global strategy to strengthen existing and gain new customers in current markets, and to identify ways to penetrate new segments and verticals.
- Champion the growth of partners - onboard those that are new and get more share of the wallet of those that are existing. The key to success will be revenue and operating income expansion
- Achieve assigned Annual Operating Plan (AOP) both for revenue and operating income for the OEM Partners
- Be responsible in taking business decisions that ensure that the business keeps with the long-term strategic plan and provide input to its direction globally.
- Lead the real-time Sales MOS (Standard Work) – ensuring the CRM (SFDC) is always healthy, the revenue forecast is as accurate as it can be, and the team is suitably deployed in the field.
- Ensure the team is right sized and in the right regions to accommodate growth and capacity per head is maintained rightly.
- Recognise market growth areas, solution offerings and deploy means to execute.
- Report forecast on time, provide analysis and reflection from your region to the Global Leader of Sales
- Be willing to travel as necessary throughout the assigned territory to promote the business or drive local growth.
- Provide coaching to improve the bench strength of your Organization and that of Honeywell.
- Direct Product Management in market and customer's needs to ensure that the offering suits the customer or regional expectations
- Liaise with the Sales Leaders of Americas. APAC and EMEA to ensure alignment in both numbers and coverage
You Must Have
- Experience of Software, Building Controls and Services in the commercial and institutional buildings markets will be highly desired but allied industries will also be considered.
- Extensive experience selling to Channel, OEM and End Users is sought.
- Proven experience acquiring and selling to customers globally or EMEA wide
- Sales experience in the commercial buildings industry with global market knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills, business acumen and financially savvy is required
- Successful experience of leading a geographically dispersed sales team.
- Proven ability to work and sell across various diverse markets.
- Shown experience developing and executing strategies for growth.
- Understands how to build sales strategies from market data across multiple geographies/industries and uses common sense approach to execution.
- Creative, proactive, decisive, high energy and ability to energize, inspire, and encourage others.
