PACE Supply is looking to add a self motivated Sales Admin/Receptionist to our Ukiah, Ca Warehouse team. This position will provide administrative and sales support to managers and employees as well as providing reception duties to our internal and external customers through a variety of tasks related to customer service, organization and communication. They will be responsible for maintaining confidential and time sensitive material as directed and communicate via phone and email ensuring that all general office/clerical duties that are assigned are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. May direct and lead the work of others and will often be called upon to use prior experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Coordinates any necessary communication between vendors and PACE
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
- Utilize information to process eligible rebates
- Actively monitors all customer and vendor activity ensuring timely follow up
- Processes standard customer inquiries concerning order status, ship date, price quotes, availability and related questions where answers are easily obtained.

- Receives and enters into computer system routine sales orders from sales staff or customers via telephone, mail or fax.
- Clarifies and determines the correctness of difficult to understand, sales order related data such as ship to, bill to, quantity, etc.
- Reviews sales orders for correct price, product code, part number and descriptions per company computer system or catalog listing.
- Ensure all available rebate credits are processed and credited
- Completes and maintains associated records, documents and logs such as sales order log, customer numbers and assigns accordingly.
- Enter vendor documents and records into computer database.

- Communicates timely with relevant team members of necessary information.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers, and managers.
- Basic knowledge of business/office equipment (e.g., photocopy machine, simple calculator) and practices (e.g., business communications).
- Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers, and co-workers, including excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to organize work and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and follow rules, methods, policies, and procedures of the workplace.
- Ability to give and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to problem solve and make appropriate recommendations when situations occur that deviate from standardized processes and procedures.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
- Ability to effectively train others.
- General knowledge of plumbing products
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required*
- Internal PACE MIS and prior inside sales is highly desirable.
- Customer service, organized and good with data entry.
