Overview:

The Safety Coordinator position at Clark is designed to give recent college graduates the tools they need to jumpstart their careers in the construction industry.
Role and Responsibilities

Safety Coordinators are responsible for assisting in the administration of Clark’s safety program to ensure a safe and healthy environment for Clark employees, subcontractors, and the surrounding community.

In this role, responsibilities might include:
  • Developing project specific safety training for jobsite personnel including subcontractors
  • Assisting in the development and coordination of project specific safety program
  • Enforcing corporate and project specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state and local safety standards
  • Identifying known/potential exposures and recommend corrective action
  • Coordinating third party safety reviews including OSHA
  • Working closely with field supervision to plan complex safety aspects of the project construction including critical lifts, hazardous material handling, etc.
  • Reporting project-specific safety performance and future plans
Basic Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, safety, business or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self Motivated - Takes initiative and personal responsibility to deliver value and excellence in all that you do
  • Team Player - Builds interpersonal relationships and collaborators with internal team members, trade partners, architects and clients.
  • Results Oriented - Experience in using data to anticipate and solve problems, manage risk and analyze business needs to deliver high quality outcomes
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $65K-95K. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as geographic location, education, skills, and experience. Most employees are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
