5 years of commercial construction safety experience

Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in a construction environment

Experience with a general contractor preferred

Assist with executing our safety strategy and zero accident culture on the project(s)

Monitoring daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company rules/policies

Certifications in safety and environmental management is a plus.

Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health skills;

Experience in Safety Training and Accident Investigation;

Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to develop safety policies and procedures;

Audit the contractor management program to ensure contractors' safety training, safe work plans, insurance requirements are met, and permits are completed.

Conduct training on, Health, and Safety for management and staff.

Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, provincial, municipal, and company safety rules and regulations.

Assist supervisors in investigating workplace incidents and devising action plans to prevent a recurrence.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track safety and operational performance.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision on projects within teams

Perform inspections and safety audits.

Assist in the inventory, management, and maintenance of RLS equipment.

Reviews and reconciles invoice statements, manage associated financial budget.

Regular follow-up (daily or weekly, as needed) to ensure that the tasks are meeting both scope and deadline requirements.

Participate in NYU Emergency Response program; will be required to carry a mobile device and respond to emergencies during non-business hours.

Works with the RLS team member to review accident/incident investigations, determine root cause and recommend and/or implement corrective actions.

Responsible for conducting and documenting routine safety inspections of field operations to ensure compliance with the safety program.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management, encompassing behavioral techniques, planning, forecasting, and organizational development.

Collaborate with Unit Managers and Division leadership to maintain precise and current licensure and federal certification databases.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing licensure and certification statuses, offering valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.

1+ years of administrative experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

Compile necessary data and complete monthly reports as required by policy.

Act as a resource to all departments in the plant to provide safety resources.

Oversees the communication of information to employees, through bulletin board posting and video communication system.

Works safely, models all safety practices and provides daily safety representation in required meetings and floor presence.

Preferred minimum of five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.

Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.

Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.

Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles is desired.

Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent require

Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.

Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems

Strong communication, influence, teamwork, analysis, judgment, customer focus skills and the ability to train groups of associates. Acquire OSHA 30-hour certification.

Understanding of Worker's Compensation case management, OSHA recordability guidelines and RTW processes.

Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required

Requires five years of progressively responsible safety management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a Joint Commission accredited environment.

Works closely with LCHD/CHC Leadership and management to cultivate the LCHD/CHC Safety Culture.

Complies with direction of the risk management program of Lake County.

Plans and coordinates the safety program, with focus on the EOC, and monitors program compliance with training requirements.

Develops, implements and maintains the safety information collection and evaluation system in compliance with Joint Commission’s requirements.
