Safety Coordinator Jobs

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of our safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety coordination, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for creating a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, prepare reports, and communicate findings to management, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.
• Stay current with applicable safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends, and assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Support incident investigations, including gathering information, conducting interviews, and documenting findings to identify root causes and recommend corrective measures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and employees to promote safe work practices and provide guidance on safety-related matters.
• Support the development and maintenance of safety-related communication materials and initiatives.
• Maintain and update safety-related documentation, including incident reports, safety inspection records, and training records.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess compliance with safety protocols, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in coordinating safety meetings and toolbox talks, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and distribution of minutes.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in safety coordination or a related role.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with employees at all levels.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Professional certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR) are preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
