Join Scripps where you will be overseeing 11 clinical staff. The RN Supervisor of Clinic Operations will supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel. They will participate in the following:
- Focusing on population health in care coordination
- Evaluating nursing care and advice over the phone and electronically
- Ensuring patients’ needs are met
- Overseeing 11 staff, all remote RNs and LVNs
- Planning work of assigned nurses
- Support projects related to population health
May be required to travel between clinical sites. Comfortable managing staff remotely. Able to work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Accountable for meeting organizational goals and metrics. Prefer supervisory experience in Ambulatory Care. Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
This is an Exempt Mon-Fri position typically working from 8am-5pm, but will vary as needed with on-call hybrid schedule (on site at a centralized location and remote).
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Must be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
- Associates degree plus two years of applicable clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Maintains current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Strong leadership experience.
- Master’s in Nursing or Public Health.
- Utilization management with clinical background.
- Care coordination experience.
