PayEngine is seeking a highly skilled and engaged Revenue Analyst who will own the Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics function inside the company. This role will own the buildout of operational dashboards, KPIs, transaction monitoring, and process improvement analyses that will be fundamental to the day-to-day management and growth of the business. This will be a highly visible role, interacting daily with senior leadership across all the functional areas of the company. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in data analysis and BI, a passion for building and improving processes, a high degree of curiosity, exceptional communication skills and follow through.
This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude with a high level of ownership, self-motivation, and accountability. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Requirements

• Proactively recommends product and process changes to improve the partner and merchant experience as well as operational processes and systems.
• Ad hoc business and financial analysis requests
• Data-driven analysis of internal processes with actionable insights for improvement.
• Buildout of ongoing monitoring that identifies any payments processing irregularities, such as processing costs that are inconsistent with intended merchant setup or revenue that doesn’t correspond to our partner agreement.
• Monthly calculation and validation of merchant residuals payouts, working with the product and engineering teams to fully automate this over time.
• Development and maintenance of operational dashboards and KPIs, including mapping data from internal and external systems and drafting requirements for enhancements to existing data sets.
• Evaluation and selection of a BI platform that manages current and future data needs with minimal ongoing impact to engineering resources.
• Contributes to and maintains website support documentation and how-to articles.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Finance
• Experience working with bug tracking software in an Agile environment (Jira, Trello)
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
• Background writing SQL queries and skilled in Excel
• Proficiency in MS office, G Suite, and Slack
• Experience with Scripting Languages such as JavaScript or Python a plus!
• Experience with integrating and maintaining a BI platform (Looker, Tableau, etc)

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall market range for this role is typically $70,000-85,000
