Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain all front desk related equipment and a par stock of supplies.
- May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Assist in handling difficult situations, including but not limited to face to face interactions, phone calls, or electronic correspondence.
- Supervise the Front Office team, ensuring proper procedures are followed and guest interactions are favorable. Provide real time feedback and coaching for continued improvement of the team.
- Follow-up on billing and credit opportunities.
- Maintain a daily log of all guests’ opportunities with corrective action steps. Follow-up on any unresolved situations in a timely manner and or pass to appropriate department manager.
- Develop and maintain programs to improve the operations of the Front Office team, upsell revenues, customer service scores, loyalty enrollments, and employee engagement.
- Perform duties as the Manager on Duty as needed.
- Create and manage weekly schedule and adjust accordingly to ensure budget guidelines are followed.
- Review current day’s expected arrivals and check all VIP and special request reservations to ensure that they are pre-registered, blocked properly and other departments are notified of room assignment.
- Previous Marriott brand experience a plus including experience with FOSSE.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years hotel front desk experience preferred.
