Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain all front desk related equipment and a par stock of supplies.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Assist in handling difficult situations, including but not limited to face to face interactions, phone calls, or electronic correspondence.
  • Supervise the Front Office team, ensuring proper procedures are followed and guest interactions are favorable. Provide real time feedback and coaching for continued improvement of the team.
  • Follow-up on billing and credit opportunities.
  • Maintain a daily log of all guests’ opportunities with corrective action steps. Follow-up on any unresolved situations in a timely manner and or pass to appropriate department manager.
  • Develop and maintain programs to improve the operations of the Front Office team, upsell revenues, customer service scores, loyalty enrollments, and employee engagement.
  • Perform duties as the Manager on Duty as needed.
  • Create and manage weekly schedule and adjust accordingly to ensure budget guidelines are followed.
  • Review current day’s expected arrivals and check all VIP and special request reservations to ensure that they are pre-registered, blocked properly and other departments are notified of room assignment.

 

 

  • Previous Marriott brand experience a plus including experience with FOSSE.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years hotel front desk experience preferred.
