Role and Responsibilities
Your Day-to-day Activities Will Include
As a Reservations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch customer service and ensuring smooth reservation processes.
Assisting customers in making reservations by efficiently using our proprietary iHotelier system.
Monitoring the team email inbox to promptly address new reservation requests.
Coordinating with resort staff, call center personnel, and vendors to resolve customer service issues with utmost care and professionalism.
Processing cancellations, modifications, and refunds to ensure customer satisfaction.
Handling incoming calls on our dedicated 800 phone line, offering excellent support to customers and third-party reservation partners.
Managing reservation denials and cancellations with tact, providing appropriate solutions for declined credit card payments.
Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth payment collection processes.
Qualifications
We value individuals who possess a genuine passion for customer service and demonstrate the ability to thrive under pressure. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of call center experience with a strong focus on customer service.
Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or vacation ownership industry is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in using multiple computer systems.
Familiarity with online form filling and navigation.
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Bonus points for any previous hospitality experience.
