Job Summary

Hiring Company is seeking a qualified individual to work with a multidisciplinary research team on a variety of health services research projects focused on health care communications for federal government clients. Hiring Company’s health services research and policy portfolio is focused on innovative health care delivery, alternative Medicare and Medicaid payment, quality of care and quality measurement, health informatics, patient experience and

patient safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Writing research white papers or articles for journal publications.
• Summarizing health care research findings into messages, tools and resources to help disseminate research to broad audiences.
• Project or task management experience demonstrating the ability to lead work activities.
• Conducting systematic literature reviews and environmental scans on various health care topics.
• Writing meeting or call notes and managing follow through of action items.
• Editing and conducting quality assurance reviews for communications products and client deliverables.
• Leading a variety of communications activities involving the development of written communications for website content, program and policy briefs, toolkit materials, reports, presentations, and conference and meeting proceedings or summaries.
• Developing agendas and facilitating internal and external meetings, webinars, and large conference calls involving clients, experts and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• A master's degree in public health, social sciences or a related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in relevant areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading communications tasks for federal research contracts and/or health services research projects, and project management skills.

Other Required Qualifications

• Skillful using MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Organization skills, including time management ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and must be comfortable and effective working independently on multiple, complex tasks.
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients.
