Trainer Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and logical CRA-sponsored training remotely
• Plan, organize, and coordinate a wide range of training activities
• Facilitate Clinical Research (CR) trainings as a facilitator
• Provide input for training activities and budget
• Collaborate with Unit and CRA leadership to design and develop CR concepts, courses, and programs

Trainer Skills

• Effective communicator with the ability to reach different audiences
• Familiar with training methodologies, including technology-based and instructor-led training
• Comfortable with public speaking and leading a classroom
• Excellent planning and prioritization skills aligned with organizational goals

Trainer Duties

• Deploy training using various techniques
• Identify and develop new strategies for effective staff training
• Collaborate with team members to develop training timelines
• Assess the impact and effectiveness of clinical research training courses
• Schedule MSK-wide CR educational courses for staff
• Develop and update CR education tools and course materials

Trainer Qualifications

• Excellent judgment, resourcefulness, efficiency, and creativity
• High School Diploma and 2-5 years of relevant experience in training, mentorship, or clinical research
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Knowledge of training design, medical terminology, and oncology concepts preferred
