Job Duties
  • Completes and maintains the ABC voucher application system for all Human Service case managers. Scans and sends all applications to the State Office Liaison for processing. Ensures that certifications are complete and over payment does not occur.
  • Researches and updates weekly Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) schedules for case managers and FCRB staff.
  • Completes Interagency System for Caring for Emotionally Disturbed Children (ISCEDC) staffing schedule and delivers ISCEDC packets to providers.
  • Completes weekly on-call schedules and sends to staff and answering service.
  • The Administrative Specialist II performs administrative and advanced secretarial duties in support of Foster Care Division, provides and specialized administrative support.
  • Completes oversight reports, 5 to 6 month staffing schedule and weekly scoreboard reports.
  • Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty and services as directed.
  • Ensures FCRB packets are delivered timely to FCRB Coordinator and staff.
  • Answers the Human Service main phone line and takes detailed messages or forwards calls to the appropriate person. Will also, serve as back up to other Administrative Specialist with filing and mail-room duties.
  • Maintains and updates Adoption & Foster Care Analysis & Reporting System (AFCARS) on-going date report for all Foster Care staff in order to comply with federal regulations.
Agency Requirements
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A High School Diploma and two (2) years of clerical experience.
Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 words a minute.
