Remote Senior Procurement Manager With Renewable Energy Projects Experience

We are currently searching for a Senior Procurement Manager who will lead the execution of sourcing strategies for significant renewable energy technology. This role will offer our team an advanced level of professional expertise, guidance, and training in procurement and supply chain management, particularly for renewable energy equipment and engineering, procurement, and construction (“EPC”) services.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the procurement of equipment and services for renewable energy projects with an emphasis on performance, total cost of ownership, quality, and safety.

Devise, refine, and enhance efficient procurement processes tailored to renewable energy projects.

Collaborate with technical leaders to formulate and execute Supply Chain strategies for major equipment and EPC services.

Plan and oversee the contracting procedures linked to procuring equipment supply and EPC services. This encompasses qualifying contractors/suppliers, initiating requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, overseeing contract document review, ensuring adherence to contracts, and assisting with contract closure.

Handle the onboarding of new contractors, encompassing NDAs, MSAs, and other prequalification documentation.

Act as the primary contact for all day-to-day correspondence between the company and vendors throughout the RFP process, contract award, manufacturing progress updates, up to final invoicing and project closure.

Facilitate the seamless handover of contracts to the Project Management and Construction teams.

Collaborate closely with Project Management, Construction, and Development teams to execute strategy and ensure timely, budget-friendly project delivery.

Requirements:

Degree in Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.

5+ years of professional experience in supply chain or similar roles, with a minimum of 3 years in the renewable energy sector.
