The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a crucial member of the senior leadership team, will be in charge of providing leadership, financial guidance, and advice on issues pertaining to the finance division, such as strategic planning, projections, budgeting, accounting, business analytics, and company/capital strategies.

The CFO will be in charge of managing the business finances and delivering information to the executive management group and the board of directors of the organization. In addition to leading and managing a team of finance experts in the financing and structuring of transactions. To be considered you must possess significant financial and technical knowledge in the power or renewables industries.

What to expect from the role:

• Providing a team of finance and accounting experts leadership, guidance, and supervision.
• Monitoring the creation and timely delivery of all financial reporting, including essential IFRS and GAAP annual reports.
• Act as subject matter expert on project financial analysis, tax equity and financial modeling.
• Define & lead the IPP strategy.
• Oversee M&A activities in partnerships with the executive team; pro-actively initiate strategies to re-cycle capital and optimize liquidity.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, applicable regulatory laws and standards, and adequate processes and internal controls are in place for financial and tax reporting.
• Leading project debt and tax equity fundraising and working in tandem with the executive team on equity fundraising/sales.
• Key leadership as a member of the executive team, including strategic vision and tactical execution to promote revenue development, profitability, and maximize capital flows.
• Playing a key role in the planning, carrying out, and upkeep of single asset and portfolio-level financings, as well as in teaching finance professionals how to handle these transactions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Development and Project Management teams in evaluating markets and assessing project development risks.

What we expect from you:

• 10+ Years experience in financial leadership roles.
• SME with tax equity & project finance structure & tracking models.
• Relevant experience in the utility-scale or DG solar developer space with a top-tier renewable energy developer, bank, or investor.
• Strong financial structuring and deal making experience, including evaluating complex revenue structures.
• Extensive knowledge of power markets including major ISO/RTOs (CAISO, PJM, MISO, ERCOT, SPP, etc.)
• Excellent track record raising project & corporate financing.
