Energy Project Engineer Jobs

The Leidos Civil Group is seeking an Energy Project Engineer with a background in energy policy, energy efficiency, water conservation efforts, energy and water consumption data analysis, and report writing to work on a full time basis supporting the Energy Management and Compliance (EMC) Program, Air Traffic Organization, FAA.

The job also requires the selected individual to work with both Head Quarters Program Manager and Service Area Implementation Managers to input requirements, funding information, initiate and track projects, obtain facility information, baseline energy and water usage and review and evaluate that information for submission to Compliance Tracking System (CTS).

The selected individual will work as a part of the team that:

• Tracks water and energy usage of various FAA facilities
• Analyzes facility billing histories
• Monitors their usage and consumption
• 5% Business Travel anticipated
• Prepares recommendations for the reduction of energy and water usage in support of the EMC Program's mission.
• This includes supporting compliance measures and projects stemming from a wide variety of executive orders and agency and federal energy mandates like EISA energy and water evaluation compliance.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of related work experience or a Master's degree with 1 to 2 years of related work experience.

Work Experience And Knowledge With The Following

• HPSB Checklists in ESPM
• Utility Consumption Data in ESPM
• Reviewing and completing energy and water evaluations for CTS compliance
• Building Benchmarking in CTS
• Reviewing billing histories from utilities and baselining facility energy consumption
• Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders (Written and verbal)
• Multi tasking
• Analyzing Energy and Water Data- both billing and consumption

Preferred Qualifications

• MS Office applications for analysis, documentation and presentations
• Technical writing for compiling reports
• Experience working with or supporting the Energy Program of any Federal Agency
• LEED Certification or any other Energy related certification
• FAA experience a plus

Pay Range

Pay Range $54,600.00 - $98,700.00
