Energy Manager (Renewable Contracts) Responsibilities:

Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Facebook's executed renewable energy contract requirements

Respond to counterparty inquires and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues as needed

Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution

Coordinate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable and other key stakeholders

5+ years of work experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or energy intensive industrial or consumer company

10+ years’ work experience in Private Equity, Investment Management, or M&A of renewable energy assets.

High analytical-conceptual thinking ability with strong experiences in building and developing long-lasting partnerships, leading, and inspiring teams, negotiating, and risk management.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or other related.

Develop and execute the investment strategy on a global level.

Building, developing, and leading a high-performing local and international investment team.

3+ years of experience in the energy sector with exposure to wholesale energy markets.

Experience with renewable energy registries such as PJM-GATS, NAR, WRIGIS, and European GoO tracking.

Outstanding project management skills, including experience with appropriate software tools

2+ years of experience with renewable energy asset management and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) management

Onboard new contracts at execution into an asset management platform and develop commercial relationships with suppliers

Track asset P&L and provide input for asset performance reporting to management

Support the development of a platform of analytical and management tools to optimize the renewable energy portfolio

Manage key commercial relationships with renewable energy suppliers in a variety of North American, European and Global markets

Manager contract compliance and procurement of third-party services

Manage and oversee HSE between company and vendors

Manage team member, fleet and vendor performance

6+ years of experience in Renewable Energy

Outstanding communication, data analysis and problem solving skills

Ensure compliance for HSE for company and onsite contractors

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or 2-5 years of equivalent experience required.

Communicates with, engineers and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and documents these clarifications.

General knowledge of Electrical principles and processes.

General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids, and GMP processes.

Working knowledge of estimating technology and tools such as OST, Accubid, Traser, and BIM related software.

Excellent computer skills, and proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Minimum years of experience required: 1-3 years

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Experience in programming languages (python, SQL) preferred

Develop end to end process documentation across all programs through discussions with internal and external stakeholders
