Remote Customer Care Specialist ($19.00 - $21.00 / Hour)

As a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you will conduct thorough assessments and provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Our team of licensed clinicians is skilled at completing initial assessments, court-ordered assessments, substance use assessments, and intakes for services. We are currently hiring for a full-time position in Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and various committees
• Conduct 22-24 assessments and/or screening/referrals per week for individuals affected by mental illness and substance abuse
• Develop initial treatment plans and provide case management and care coordination with service providers and referral sources
• May perform consultation services to community agencies
• Request and gather necessary documentation from various agencies and providers
• Complete required trainings as listed in Relias Training
• Follow all clinical policies and procedures related to confidentiality, release of information, and record keeping
• Complete required clinical and administrative documentation accurately and within established timelines
• Perform other duties within the scope of the position and employee's abilities
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and professionalism
• Provide crisis counseling as needed
• Access supplemental treatment resources and community resources
• Ensure reimbursement for services by completing necessary financial and clinical information

Qualifications

• 2+ years of postgraduate experience in a behavioral health care setting
• Team-oriented perspective and flexible work style
• Ability to screen, assess, evaluate, and refer individuals seeking services
• Experience and interest in providing therapeutic services within a time-effective and recovery-oriented framework
• Knowledge of assessment and referral in the context of mental illness and substance abuse
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 15 lbs.
• Knowledge of community systems and resources
• Familiarity with contemporary utilization management practices
